Time to put the two weights into position - note the two pegs in the
base, and how they mate with the two small recesses in the chassis.
Here is the rear weight fitted.
Now the trickiest bit of all. Insert the bulbs, one at
each end. Here dropping the rearward bulb into
position. You will need to have the chassis upright
for the front bulb.......
.....and then place the circuit board over the top,
making sure that the copper tag keeps the bulb in place
at the rear, and at the front,.....
....and that the tag in the centre makes contact
with the positive brush cap on the motor. And
while you are juggling all of that, keep the green
wire routed away from the motor and on the outside
of the brush cap.
It all sounds easy until you
come to do it. Oh - and don't forget to
prevent the weights from dropping off if you tilt
the chassis.
All correct ? Sure ? Good - get those screws in to hold down the
top circuit board and make a final check that bulbs and contacts are exactly
as they should be.
