Boadicea Conversion Picture Book
Put the screw in to join the two halves of the drawbar. You may need to put something under the upturned tender to keep it aligned.
Gently drop the baseplate into position. The hole in the rear end is easy to align. You may need to manoeuvre the fron bogie to get the peg to drop into the elongated hole in the front bogie. Do not at any time use even the slightest force. If it doesn't drop intoplace by gravity alone, something is wrong.
Once in place gently insert the screws. Turn the driver clockwise until it meets resistance. Thats it. Don't be tempted to tighten them. When these things break, they break across the screw holes due to giving them that extra little nip at the end. It might have worked when the plastic was new and soft, but not 40 years on.
