At the rear, you have to ease the bottom part of the body moulding over the rear of the metal casting. The part is marked with a red dot on the photograph. It is not unusual to see a break in the thin plastic piece. Not accidental, but cut deliberately so that the body can be lifted without having to worry about the wire. I usually cut a small section out of mine. It is not easily noticed when running on the track.
