Classic UK Minitrix Models  -  UK Minitrix
By Number

Hornby Minitrix started marketing models produced by the Trix company in 1973. By this time, trix alread had a number of British outline models in its catalogue, and these began to appear under the Hornby banner from 1973 onwards. However, it is possible to find early examples the Hornby range in the green and yellow polystyrene boxes as sold by Trix.

* Year is very approximate.  I have used a number of sources ‑ one of which is copies of old catalogues that I have found ‑ but these often represent an intention, rather than the availability of a model.  Two notable examples are the early Britannia, which first appeared as a drawing taken from the Trix OO model and didn't appear until the following year.  The Blue Class 27 appeared in the 1970 Trix catalogue, but didn't make it into the Hornby Minitrix range until 1980 ‑ highlighted as a new model.

PH Year / Ph Quantity are figures obtained from Pat Hammond's Story of Rovex, Volume 3.

Year(H) and Year(T) are the years that models have first been seen in Hornby and Trix catalogues, respectively.  Left blank in some cases where I have not been able to locate a particular catalogue.
